MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Farmington school counseling program is to develop and prepare every individual for lifelong learning and participation in a global society. Farmington School District’s counselors are professionals who, in cooperative partnerships with students and their families, teachers, administrators, local businesses and agencies, and post-secondary institutions, will provide a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes academic, career, and the personal / social development of all students. Our programs strive to deliver equal access and equity for all students and to provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary to cope with life issues and be prepared with the skills required to accomplish their personal goals and become productive members of society.
