Welcome to Farmington High School!

Dear Seniors and Parents,

Graduation for the Class of 2020 will be happening on Saturday, July 11th at 10am. The graduation ceremony will take place on the FHS football field. Each senior will be allowed 6 guests to come to graduation. It is the responsibility of the senior to get their 6 tickets ahead of time as they will not be available the day of graduation. Those tickets will be available at the SAU office on Thursday, July 2nd, from 9am to 3pm and on Monday, July 8th, from 9am to 3pm.
In order to get into the graduation you must have a ticket in your possession at the check in gate (Seniors DO NOT need a ticket). You will then be directed where to park your vehicle. Once you have parked, there will be staff present to escort you to your designated seating areas. Your designated seating areas are designed to keep the 6 guests in a shared area to maximize social distancing from other guests. Senior students will be sitting in a separate location with their classmates while the spectators sit in their assigned seating areas that are shown on their ticket.
Here are some non-negotiables:
  • You must have a ticket to get into graduation
  • You must sit in your designated seating area.
  • Masks must be worn at all times for EVERYONE. When you sit in your seats you may remove your mask however when you move from your seat the mask must go back on.
  • You may not get out of your seat to take pictures. We will have 2 photographers present that will make their pictures available.
  • After the ceremony, wait for guidance and directions from the staff before leaving so we do not have everyone leaving at the same time.
I am hopeful for nice weather however if rain becomes an issue in our forecast we do have a rain date for July 25th at 10am. Please also prepare for hot weather since mid July can be very hot. We will have water available along with close access to bathrooms.
I am very glad to be able to offer this experience for our senior students and families. It is very important to make this a memorable experience for our seniors however it is our top priority to be safe and maintain social distancing. I thank you ahead of time for understanding the unique circumstances we are living in. Farmington High School has no doubt that we can come together as a community to ensure a safe and rewarding graduation for our Class of 2020!
If you have any other questions please reach out.
