Superintendent Search Committee

The Farmington School District is soliciting volunteers to join the Superintendent Search Committee this month. The committee will consist of at least 10 individuals in the following roles:
2 Farmington School Board Members, 1 Principal, 1 SAU 61 Employee, 1 teacher, 1 paraeducator, 1 FHS student, 1 Farmington Community Member (parent), 1 Farmington Community Member (non-parent) and 1 Budget Committee Member

The search committee will interview candidates screened by the Farmington School Board. The timeframe for those interviews could be June 21 through June 24, 2016. Search committee members are invited to apply for appointment to the committee. District employees who volunteer to serve on this search committee and are selected will not receive a stipend for this role. The School Board will appoint members to this search committee based on a written statement addressing "Priorities for Leadership of Public Schools in a Small Town." If interested in volunteering, please send your name, the role you are applying to fill as listed above, and your written statement by 5:00 PM on June 17, 2016 to acardinal@sau61.org. The committee will be selected by the Farmington School Board on June 20, 2016
