The New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association and New Hampshire Athletic Directors Association will hold the Annual NHIAA and NHADA Scholar Athlete Awards Ceremony on Monday,  March 17, 2014.  Division III will be presented at 9:30 a.m.  The event will be held at The Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord.  This is the 27th year for females and the 16th year for males to receive this highly distinguished award.

NHIAA high school student-athletes from throughout New Hampshire will be recognized for achieving academic and athletic excellence.  Award recipients are nominated each year by their school principals based on criteria which require the high school seniors have a B+ grade point average, letter and be currently actively in at least two varsity sports, participate in community service activities and serve as as role models to their peers. At the awards ceremony, each student athlete will receive an award certificate.

The recipients from Farmington High School are Morgan Moody (Soccer, Softball), Maggie Villemont (Soccer, Winter Spirit), Kevin Poulin (Soccer, Basketball, Baseball), and Kevin Radcliffe (Soccer, Basketball, Baseball).

Students from Farmington High School will also attend the NHIAA sponsored Student Athlete Leadership Conference at The Grappone Center in Concord, March 20-21.  Students will have the tremendous opportunity to learn from some of the most influential athletic leaders in the state, in the hopes that they will develop skills to use as team leaders at Farmington High School.

The student-athletes who were chosen by administration to attend this conference from Farmington High school are Patrina Krewson (Soccer, Basketball, Softball), Brady Silva (Soccer, Basketball, Softball), Duane Hersom Jr. (Football, Basketball) and Derek Poulin (Soccer, Basketball, Baseball).

Congratulations to all of our student athletes.
