posted Oct 7, 2013, 9:35 AM by mjozokos@sau61.org
Beginning Tuesday, October 8th and continuing till Thursday, October 10th all FHS Juniors will be participating in the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP). The NECAP tests measure students’ academic knowledge and skills relative to Grade Expectations which were created by teams of teachers. Student scores are reported at four levels of academic achievement; Proficient with Distinction, Proficient, Partially Proficient and Substantially Below Proficient. This Fall students will be tested in reading, math and writing with scores available in March 2014. The test will be administered during periods 1, 2 & 3 each day. These tests are very important and ask for your help in making sure that your child gets a good night sleep and is on time to school. Thank you for your support.
