Ms. Sauer’s Bio

Works with students L-Z

In 2006 Ms. Kathryn Sauer graduated from the University of New Hampshire where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and in 2015 she graduated from Plymouth State College where she earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling. Carrying out her internship experience in grades K-12, Ms. Sauer quickly discovered her true passion for working with students at the high school level. In 2015 Ms. Sauer was hired part-time as the freshman counselor at Farmington and so she is thrilled at the opportunity this year to be working with students in all grades, 9-12. In addition, to her work as a school counselor, Ms. Sauer has taken on the position as the Henry Wilson Middle School soccer coach, a first that she is excited to take on. Ms. Sauer also volunteers on the Dover Court Diversion Committee where she works with first time offending youth on accountability and reconciliation through a cooperative process.

When Ms. Sauer is not in school she loves spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and her dog Jackson. In the winter months, Ms. Sauer looks forward to Christmas trees, big snow storms and college basketball!
